With the twirl tool you can create complex and attractive objects in no time. In this tutorial we are going to draw this simple wallpaper design.
Open a new document and draw a circle. Choose the Twirl Tool placed under the Wrap Tool.
Linger over the edge of the circle and then click and hold. The longer you hold your click the more the shape will twirl. A Twirl will be created on the edge of the circle as seen below.
Repeat the process may times to create complex shapes. To make change to the options double click on the tool. The Twirl Tool Options box will appear.
By making change to the options you can control the twirl and its angle. Play around with the options.
If you choose multiple objects on the canvas you can twirl them together. The twirl tool will blend the shapes for you.
So without losing much time you can create something like this.
